• Steps to create your own augmented reality business card:
  • Create an account on our server (let's say you choose john.doe as account name)
  • Print the marker on the back of your business cards.
  • Print the marker and the associated URL on the back of your business card so people can access the augmented reality version of your profile:
    • Your username is john.doe?
    • The associated URL you need to print is http://john.doe.visualcard.me/profile

That's all!

• Images not accessing your info when clicked?

This is because you are not using your dedicated URL such as john.visualcard.me or my-login.visualcard.me. If your login username is qwerty, the dedicated URL you MUST use in order to have access to your info is qwerty.visualcard.me

• The Flash player is grey?

This Flash applet requires a webcam. Please try again with your webcam on. Alternately, you may use a computer with a webcam. If you have a webcam, make sure your webcam is recognized then control click on the application and select Settings. Once the panel opens, go to the camera tab and, in the drop down menu, select "USB Video Class Video." Now your camera will be the default camera for all Flash webcam applications.

• Video showing but no augmented reality?

This application needs a certain amount of light to be able to recognize the marker so if you are seeing nothing special (meaning you are only seeing the video capture), try again with more light.

• Nothing happened when you clicked on the Skype image?

It seems like Skype is not handling skype:met_baron?chat correctly like URI (at least when using Skype on Mac).Wither this or we have an error somewhere in our code. We are looking at the problem; it should be resolve soon.
